Changes to pages save in back end, but don’t show in front end

  • Hi,

When I make revisions to pages (text, image etc) and save them everything seems to work but the revisions don’t show up on the page itself.

If I click ‘Preview changes’, the changes are shown.

If I click ‘Update page’, the page saves and the ‘Page updated.’ box comes up. The revisions are still in the edit window. Everything seems to have worked.

But when I view the page, it’s the unchanged version.

If I edit the permalink (to /aboutb for example) then click ‘Update page’, the change DOES work. But then I have a different permalink!

    This problem doesn’t affect posts.

I’ve deactivated all caching and redirection plugins.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

    Thanks in advance.
