 * I am new to WordPress and have been building [http://www.newmilitarybenefits.com](http://www.newmilitarybenefits.com).
I update new changes using your forum here, but each time I make a change, it
reverts back to the original layout when I do another change. How do I maintain
   changes to CSS stylesheets?
 * Larry

 * That depends: how are you applying these changes? Are you using a custom css
plugin, or are you editing the original theme files? Are all your changes still
in the css files, and are they placed AFTER the css that they are supposed to
   override?
 * (If you’re editing the theme files themselves, stop right there and create a
   [child theme](http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes)! Otherwise, you’ll lose
your changes anytime the original theme is updated.)

 * Not sure if you’re using a) the CustomCSS panel in Customiz’it!, or b) using
a Child Theme? c)You may be trying to edit core files, which is not recommended.
 * If a), are you remembering to click on Save & Publish button?
 * If b), how are you moving the style.css file to your Host ISP?

 * I’ve been using this theme for a few days and I’ve been changing CSS on the CustomCSS
panel in Customiz’it!, but today everything vanished!it has reverted back to
the original layout. Is there a maximum number of changes in CCS allowed?
    Any
   idea of what is happening?

 * I created a child theme as you suggested. However, when I do the CSS changes…
like this one described above…I lose my previous change. I can’t do more than
one change without losing the others. How can I keep my changes?

 * Do you have caching on your site?
 * Are you adding your new changed below the others and making sure you don’t have
   any syntax errors?
 * I don’t see any CSS in your child theme style.css file at all.

    I think just adding to
the CSS is helping. I thought I had to delete old content before adding new changes.
Anyway, can you view the CSS in my style.css file? Larry

 * I see a bunch in custom CSS (not the child theme style.css) – which is just fine.
Yeah, you have to keep the code there if you want it to keep working :).
