    I’ve been running YAPB on a client’s site for about 18 months without any noticeable problems. That said, I haven’t change any of the plugin’s options or the blog’s url for quite a while, either.

    You could try deactivating some of your other plugins in case there’s a conflict somewhere.

    That’s a good idea. At the time YAPB was the only plug-in that was activated. I just went as far as deleting all of my deactivated plug-ins but still no luck.
