Hello sirs. Showing the changelog as you used to is very important to decide whether an upgrade may be disruptive or not. Please don’t forget to show it in the new layout, cause today I’m not seeing it in any plugin 🙁

    Thanks in advance!

It’s still there under the Development tab, for example: https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack/#developers

OK… So, this will be the current, normal way of checking changelogs from now on? I have to change my links and make notice to some developers who were linking to #changelog.

Otherwise, you could maintain the #changelog label for URLs available, would you?

The changes like this to the plugin directory are still in flux, so I wouldn’t start making any changes based on what you see just yet.

Originally, they had their own changelog tag, when the redesign launched they were at the bottom of the listing’s main page, and as of yesterday they’re under the Development tab.

I’d say if your only concern is where the changelogs wind up, give it about a month before you change any references to where they are.

If you’d like to maintain #changelog though, feedback is definitely welcome at https://meta.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/2771
