Here’s what I did: I changed the WordPress address and now I can’t get into my Dashboard.

I had been playing around with filosofo’s Home-Page Control plugin, and trying to get my pages right. I deleted the /wordpress/ from the end of the URI, and now I’m getting: “The page you are looking for does not exist; it may have been moved, or removed altogether. You might want to try the search function. Alternatively, return to the front page.”

I know exactly what I did, but I can’t find a way back to fix it.

I deleted WordPress from my server and uploaded it again; my posts and pages are still there, but there’s no theme, and I still can’t get into the Admin section. Here’s my site:

  • If you have phpMyAdmin, or something similar, this tutorial will help:

I don’t have phpMyAdmin, and I can’t see something similar in my CPanel. Is this maybe something I could talk to my webhosting support about?

Probably should check with the host, yes.

Somehow, you ideally need to be able to access and edit your database.
Or restore from a recent database backup.
    Or dump it and reinstall.

(that last option tends to suck!)

On careful search, I found phpMyAdmin. In Cpanel, it’s hidden in tiny letters at the bottom of the MySQL screen.

Thank you so much, HandySolo. The tutorial worked.
