Support » Fixing WordPress » changed the theme, and lost my site…

  • For the past three years, I’ve had a great website on wordpress… no problems. I recently decided to clean house, and marked all my posts as “pending review” so they wouldn’t be seen on the site. I then attempted to change themes, and after a few different theme versions (just trying out different looks for the site) my site is no longer accessible. I MAY have tried a theme that is now defunct, but now I can’t even access my site. I’ve tried getting into my editor by going to my domain name + the jargon, ie: “TheNeonLounge.com/wordpress.admin/ph….” (er, something like that) but it doesn’t work.

I can’t even find where I can log-in to find my website, “The Neon Lounge.”

    Thanks for any help!

Try switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
