I just upgraded my site to WP 2.3.3
As I commonly do when I upgrade, I change my password. There are only two user accounts on my site, the admin account and a backup admin account under another name which I leave there for emergencies such as this.
After changing my password, I was kicked out of my site and brought back to the login screen. I tried my new password and it didn’t work. I tried my backup account and password, also did not work. I have tried having WP email me new passwords for both accounts, also will not work.
Short of doing surgery on my database thru PhPAdmin, which is the direction I think this is going, could I possibly import the wp_users table alone or copy the hashes from that database into the current wp_users?
And, is this a bug others have found? I did a search and found nothing, and I apologize if this is a duplicate thread.
