    Hi,

I’ve changed the base slug for the lessons, from /lessons/ to /aulas/. All works well as far as each course pointing to the proper URL:

    example.com/course-name/aulas/aula-number-etc...

But the sitemap created by Yoast SEO lists each lesson under

    example.com/lessons/aula-number-etc...

Since Yoast SEO presumably draws the lesson URLs from LearnPress, I wonder could possibly be causing this.

    Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I’ve since decided I’ll stop using LearnPress, because of this and a few other issues that strongly affect my site’s SEO.

I had not paid any attention to these issues for over a year, but now I need the site to generate visitors and cannot understand why would LearnPress developers think it a good idea to set as canonical URL for any lesson page the course to which they are assigned.

Also, there are a few issues with Yoast SEO and LP, which have been already brought to the consideration of LP developers. LP doesn’t let any custom meta descriptions set on Yoast SEO to be published at the lesson page level.

I’ve considered other LMS and found no satisfactory solution (I only considered free plugins), so I’ll be switching all lessons to regular posts and setting them in a parent-child hierarchy with their courses. It will take a while, but I need to have a working site, SEO-wise.

    Thanks
