Is it possible to change the /wp-admin to /customurl to hide the admin login page on a website that uses https protocol. I tried protect your admin plugin, it was working fine on my local machine using http protocol. But when i uploaded this plugin onto my live website, it redirects me to the login page again and again even after entering correct login details. Also using this plugin I am able to access the login page using both /wp-admin and /customurl. Is there an alternative plugin that works both with http and https protocol or can this task be achieved by writing some code.

    Thanks,
    Bilal

I think you either meant to post this in a specific plugin’s forum, or, you forgot to write the plugin name.

    Hey Peninah,

I posted in plugins forum too. I used this plugin protect-wp-admin. Plugin is not helping me. So is there any alternative plugin or a code that I can use with https protocol.

    Thanks,

Did you try the iThemes security plugin? I know they have some options for that kind of thing–not sure if they cover your exact needs.

@peninah thanks for the suggestion. iThemes security plugin solved my problem. Earlier it was not working after the release of 5.2 version it started to work.

    Thanks,
