Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » change Woo Commerce order email from fixed address to placeholder

I use a plugin for events management which integrates with Woo Commerce where event organizers can create accounts, and sell tickets on the site. I want to change the new order, failed order, and cancellation emails from a fixed email address to the organizer who created and sold the product. I tried using the meta key for the organizer’s email {organizer_email} but this didn’t seem to work. Any ideas? This one’s for you @mailmechanic

    Thanks in advance.

Out of the box, you can only add emails manually (using comma separated values) for New Order, Failed Order and Cancelled Order emails. These email fields do not support placeholder/variable email values.

For this setup, you can use the AutomateWoo extension to send different order emails to different organisers.

Do let us know if you have any further queries.

@wpnomad it looks good. Can I see a demo of this? I want to be sure it resolves my issue before I purchase. Thx

    Hi @shomee ,

We don’t have a demo running on a test site, however, here is a screenshots of a workflow I set up for your use case in AutomateWoo: https://d.pr/i/pUXSf3

If you want to try it, we have a 30-day refund policy. If the product doesn’t work the way you need or you think another product would work better, we are more than happy to provide a full refund.
You can read more about our refund policy on our website here: http://woocommerce.com/refund-policy/

    I hope this helps!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
