# Change sidebar's width

 * I know that this question has been answer in the past, but I wasn’t able to solve
   my problem following the instructions that I’ve found. I need specific instruction
   on how to change the width of the right sidebar.
 * I’m using green apples template.

 * The width of **both** sidebars is defined in:
 *     ```
       div.sides {
           float: left;
           overflow: hidden;
           padding-top: 20px;
           width: 190px;
       }
       ```

 * I have change width to 300px (at the two places where the code you gave me appear)
   and nothing is changing (you can take a look).
    In fact, I just want to enlarge
   the right sidebar. Is it possible ? Thanks for your help

 * You width problem just might be in this script.
    [http://www.google.com/reader/ui/publisher-fr.js](http://www.google.com/reader/ui/publisher-fr.js)
   It has a width of 130px, that would explain why the sidebar2 is wide enough but
   still the content overflows.
