I am currently building a new homepage and I am using the standard theme “Twenty Ten” (it looks like this at the moment: http://cgden.net/wordpress/ )
I want to change 2 things:
1) The width of the blog postings is too small/narrow. Since I only have limitied knowledge of CSS I am not sure which files and lines I have to change. Does anyone know which parts I have to edit to make my blog posts appear wider?
2) The widgets on the sidebar have no visual division. I have found a theme called Organic Theme 1.9.4 that does actually what I want to achieve: http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/organic-theme
As you can see each widget header (for example “Categories”) has a black background and the rest of the widget points has a grayish background.
What is the easiest way to get these visual blocks of theme “organic theme” into my “Twenty Ten” theme?
