Support » Plugin: WP Product Review Lite » Change Widget-Button Text (inside Plugin Code)

    Hello,

I use the Bookrev Theme and have a question about the Widget. It displays a “Buy Now” and “Read Review” button. And if I use it on the Sidebar, everything works fine. I can choose the Widget from the list and I can choose the Text inside the Buttons:
    Widget in SIdebar works fine

However, I want a page containing my Toplists. That means I’ve used the “SiteOrigin Pagebuilder” which allows me to insert Widgets into a normal post. That also works fine with the “WP Product Review Lite”-Widget.
BUT I only have one problem:
There is no choice of the Button Text

As you can see, I have no possibility for choosing the Text for the Buttons. I don’t know why they disappeared there.

So, only chance for me to change the Button Text is, to change the default Button Text. So I searched inside the Plugin files but I cannot find the places where the “Buy Now” and “Read Review” Text is defined.
Can you please tell me the file(s) and lines I need to change, so I can use my own texts for the Button? I don’t need to have custom texts for every list. So it’s okay for me to change the default texts of every button.
I hope you understand my problem. If something is unclear, please ask me. 🙂

    Thank you for your help,
    greetings, Korni

And as I just browse around the Support Forum topics, I came across the post of rubipn:

So I guess it’s not only me. Many more have that problem.

    Hi there,

That’s the button text of your review. You should be able to change it from your review. Is it not working for you? 🙂

    Hello,
Yes, I think the screenshots make it clearly.

This is the Widget inside the sidebar:

(See? I can choose the text for the buttons)

This is the widget inside a page:

(See? I can’t choose a buttontext. There is no option. No Textfield.

That’s why I want to change the default buttontext.

Original default text: “Buy Now” and “Read Review”
I want to change it inside the Pluginfiles but I can’t find it.

    Hey there,

It’s because of widget isn’t loading the JS file on Post editor, so that’s why it’s happening. I’ll report it to our developers and we’ll see what we can do about it.

Thanks for reporting it to us. 🙂

Okay, so I just wait for the next plugin-update I guess?
