Change variation out of stock message to a button

    If I set my product variations to £0, instead of the default message “Sorry, this product is unavailable. Please choose a different combination.” I would like to change the add to cart button to a “Contact for price” button linking to the contact page. Any ideas how I could do this?

    This is a “request a quotation” type requirement. If you google that there are a few such plugins you could look into.
