Change URL to an invalid website not can't access Admin

    Hello – I was trying to change my website URL. I was in the general setting area and changed the site address and the wordpress address and hit save.

    The bad part is that I entered the new site incorrectly so it doesn’t exist – it just goes to an “server not found” page.

    How do I get back to the admin side and change the URLs back? I’ve read a bunch of the support forums and can’t find anything that helps me because I can’t get to the wp-config.php site.

    Please help!

    Hey, Leah!

    Easy. Just go to your cPanel, and go to the database through PHPMyAdmin. Go to the Options table, and open it up. The two entries you want to change are the ones with option_name = siteurl and Home.

    by the way – does WordPress have a phone number you can call to talk to a person????

    Thank you Augustin56 – but i need a little more than that.

    What and where is my cPanel? Also I don’t have PHPmyAdmin – should I download it?
