Change to german formal language changes the cookie guidlines to English

    Hi,
    i´ve changed my wordpress installation to german formal language. After that the cookie guidelines appeared in English. So I switched back to informal German.
    Any ideas?

    Hi @broemmelhaupt,

    Most likely the cookie policy defaulted to the standard language, as the German Formal language file was not yet downloaded.

    You can switch to German Formal, then proceed to Dashboard – Updates and see if there are any translations updates available. This should download the German Formal file from wordpress.org.

    You can find it here as well; https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/complianz-gdpr/stable/de/formal/. You can export and add it to the language folder from Complianz with FTP -> wp-content/pluginname/languages/

    Hi Aert,
    thanks for the fast feedback.
    This solved the problem.
    I also did run the assistent again.
    After that, the language was formal.
