• Hello!

On some of my websites I use the plugin ‘WordPress Auto Featured
Image’ which can be found here.

Basically it works great but at this moment it only creates a featured image from my media while I want it inserted in the post itself, this is because in the theme I am using I have to hide featured images because I also post other sort of content (videos). Basically I would like to ask if I can reprogram this plugin of some sort, so that instead of adding a thumbnail it will add the image to the first paragraph?

    Thanks a lot in advance!

  • I’m a little confused. So you don’t want to show the featured image at the top of the post, but you do want to show the featured image in the post, at the top? How is this any different?

Sorry for confusing you, what I ment is I do not want any featured image. I just want the image that I upload added to the first paragraph of the content.

Hope this clears it up for you :)!

Why not just add your image into the post as usual? While editing a post, click “Add Media” then select or upload your image, then click “Insert into post.”

Because I own websites that post A LOT of images. That would mean I would have to go around and make about a hundred of those posts every day :P.
