 * Hi, I’m trying to change the page width of my site, and decrease the margins.
I can’t seem to find what to change in my css. The blog is locally hosted as
a test, so I can’t put the address up. Thanks, Max

 * You shouldn’t modify theme files – as your changes will be lost when the theme
is updated. Instead use custom CSS (via a plugin if your theme does not have
that option ) – then ADD the new CSS in custom CSS to make the changes you want.

 * I found the things to change in the chrome elements editor, but I don’t know
how to change them in the css file.

 * Like I said above don’t change theme files – install a custom CSS plugin (this
   one is good : [http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin/))
and then COPY the CSS code you find using Chrome Inspect Elements to the custom
CSS and make the changes in custom CSS. Otherwise all your changes will be lost
   when the theme is updated.

 * I did install a plugin, but still didn’t know what to add to it. just copying
the text didn’t work. After some playing, I got it to work. Now the theme is
the right width, but the theme only accepts header images of a certain size.
can I change that size?, and what php file would I find that in. Thanks, Max
