Change theme, have to add widget again?

    Hello, if I switch my current theme to a default WordPress one and switch back to my current theme again, in this case, my widget will disappear? and do I have to add widgets again? If yes, this is not so convenient as I have many widgets and already do all settings, input widget title text, etc.

    @topsan123 When you switched theme, the widgets will be placed on the Inactive Widgets and you can drag and drop it again on the sidebars. To make sure that you won’t be losing widgets and settings you can backup those widgets. Here’s how you can Import and Export Widgets using Widget Options. Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
