Change theme from database

  • Hi,

I have been trying to find a topic explaining how the theme is chosen from wordpress but I can’t find any.

My problem is how can I change my blog’s theme from the database or by modifying any of the scripts? Let’s say that I change a theme to a new one and the admin panel is not working anymore. How can I change the theme again?

    Thank you

  • Why do you want to mess with the database?
Can’t you just change/switch themes from the admin panel > Presentation?
What do you mean the admin panel not working?

EDIT. The settings are stored in the wp_options table; in my DB lines 54, 55 > template and stylesheet.
