  • @videobenefitsguy,

You can only change this text by editing the code (or applying a translation file). If you want to hard code a change then edit the classes/class-s2-frontend.php file around line 60.

The plugin includes a Widget for Sidebars. Activate it in the Settings page and then place it in the Widgets page within WordPress.

Thank you for the reply. I’m a “newbie” to WordPress (sorry), and don’t know how to “edit the classes/class-s2-frontend.php file around line 60.” In installed subscribe2 from the autoinstall in WordPress.

I was able to get the widget in my Blog Sidebar. Thanks!

You can make the edits in the WordPress plugin editor but if you make and error your site may be inaccessible. Using FTP and a text editorials safer and it’s a good thing to learn as you may need it in future if you continue blogging.

Ok, thank you. I think I’ll leave as-is for now to be safe!

I added the widget to my sidebar but when I tried to sign up using a personal email I received an error that says, “There appears to be an error on the server, please try again later.” Any suggestions?

The form is on the right side of if you wanted to test. Right now it looks like people can’t subscribe to the blog.
