I have seen question after question related to and asked on this topic, to the point that I am beginning to believe that there are really no experts available to answer users questions here…that being said:
How do I change the word comment to another word…say “Critique”…and I mean universally in every spot on WordPress TwentyTen that the word Comment and or Comments appear. This should not be rocket science, and I fail to see why this should be so complicated. If changing one word is so difficult then WordPress.org is irrelevant. Please say it ain’t so.
Once again, I want to go to one or two spots in the codex and put the word “Critique”/”Critiques” in for “Comment”/”Comments”. If you really don’t know the answer to this then please do not waste my time…I am in need of an expert. Thanks.
Don’t edit the Twenty Ten theme. Your changes will be over-written the next time you upgrade WordPress. For this reason, it is recommended that you consider creating a child theme for your customisations. Once your child theme is active, you need to go through every template and replace the word manually.
