[Resolved] change the Text in the Slider

  • Hello.
    Where can I change the number of slider images. Per default the slider has two images, where can I increase it to 5 for example?
    Where can I change the Text in the Slider?

    @fergalfitzp: Just go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Featured Post Slider”. Then click on Slider Option and type in the “Number of Slides” you want.

    This is Features post slider which is created to highlight your post in the slider. So, first you need to create a post and then add featured image in the post. Then you should remember your post ID and follow the following steps.

    1. Click on Appearance => Theme Options => Featured Post Slider => Featured Post Slider Options” from your WordPress Dashboard
    2. Add in the Post ID’s in Featured Slider Post#1, #2 and #3 respective input boxes.
    3. Click on Save button

    Note:
    * When you add the Post Id’s, make sure you have added in the Featured Image in your Post.
    * If you are unable to find the post ID then you can install the Catch IDs Plugin to find the Post IDs

    The text in the slider are the Title and the excerpt of the post that you added in Featured Post Slider post ID’s.

    but if we don’t wants to use the featured post slider then how we could increase the no. of sliders for homepage.

    Hi,

    I required to insert 5 image in static not using theme options. then how to add these 3 images. I checked catcheverest-function.php but it never to change anything in the slider code.
