    I have changed the font size of the post to 18 pixels but the font size of the links within the post remain the same i.e, 12 px. How do I change the size of the link text?

  • Site link please?

    My site is pakhribas.com. But would you please delete the link or my post as I’ve been getting a lot of spam after I posted the link on this forum.

    That’s the downside of Forums I’m afraid. I have no control on Forum posts so can’t take any action, but I’ll flaf to a Moderator.

    I couldn’t see any specific links you’re referring to I’m afraid. Can you point me in the right direction please?

    It is not the general policy to edit or delete forum posts. When a post is made and people contribute answers to an issue, that then becomes part of the community resource for others to benefit from. Editing or deleting posts removes this added value. In extreme circumstances, the moderation team might be persuaded to remove sensitive information but. generally, your best course of action is not to publish anything that you wouldn’t want to be public.

    I’m sorry but this is not an extreme case. Nor does it warrant a modlook tag.

    Only I can see is that dropdown menu font size is not right. I would add

    .dropdown-menu > li > a {
    font-size:16px;
    }

    to make them same size as menu items.

    Remove <code></code> tags around your links and they will have normal font size.

    Thanks rdellconsulting and esmi for your answers.
    I couldn’t understand your question rdell… If you mean my site’s link that has invited lot of spam, then it was not on this thread.

    Back to my problem: I have changed the font size of my blog to 18px. Before it was 16px.
    There must be a way to change the font size of the links within my posts to 18px too. Now, the link text has the theme default size of 12px.
    The font size of links within a post seems quite small compared to the font size of the overall paragraph.

    I just want to change the font size of the links to 18px or whatever looks good.

    if you dont want to remove <code></code> tags then you need to change font size for them to 18px

    code, pre {
    padding: 0 3px 2px;
    font-family: Monaco,Menlo,Consolas,”Courier New”,monospace;
    font-size: 12px; /* you need to change this to 18px
    color: #333;
    -webkit-border-radius: 3px;
    -moz-border-radius: 3px;
    border-radius: 3px;
    }

    Thanks tomaja, I’ll be trying this out. When you suggested removing <code> </code> from the links, then I was like “Awww! I need to remove all of them from about a few hundred links!”

    Thanks again! Will it be okay if I don’t define the font-family and color?

    Thanks tomaja, that did it.

    I need to remove all of them from about a few hundred links!

    I find Search Regex to be excellent for global find/replace.
