If so update your php.ini or login to your server plesk/cpanel > php settings and set the value for safe_mode to off. * This feature has been deprecated since PHP 5.3. If you are still on PHP 5.2 contact your hosting company and ask them to upgrade your PHP. Read this article on why [not to use PHP 5.2](http://bigemployee.com/stop-using-php-5-2/) or any version that has reached its end of life. * If safe_mode is already off look for open_basedir and see if anything is out of the ordinary there. * Let me know how it goes. The MT support said these sort of open_basedir issues don’t happen with this version PHP. The bug has been fixed.
