Change text ‘Enter your address to view shipping options’ on cart page

Hi,
I am getting phone calls from confused customers who want to choose “local pick up” for there order as the instructions say “enter address to see shipping options” – as they don’t want anything shipped they think this doesnt apply so dont know how to select local pick up.
I would like to change this to “please enter your address to see delivery & pickup options”. Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi @michellepetz

You can do this by using a free translation plugin like Loco Translate(https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/).

I know it may sound strange to “translate” your own language, but it works. 🙂

This will allow you to find that phrase and change it to be what you’d like.

Another option would be remove the shipping calculator from the cart page by de-selecting the below setting, so customers only see the relevant options on the checkout page once they enter their address:

Hi Abhi,
Thank you for your reply, I have tried this plugin and it didn’t work for me. I think maybe something in my theme is blocking it 🙁

You might need to be very precise with the search string: Enter your address to view shipping options.
