Support » Theme: Virtue » Change text color (where to find right css line?)

  • I’d like to change the color of some text elements in my Virtue theme. For example the date of the blog posts. How can I find the right CSS line? I opened several CSS stylesheets such as Bootstrap.css and editor-style.css. Bootstrap is unreadable (all one line without enters).
    My site is http://www.designbynine.nl

    You can actually just add code to your custom css box in appearance > theme options > advanced settings. This code should work for your blog dates:

    .postdate,.postdate span {
    color: #000;
    }

    Thanks, it works! Do you have tips how to find/read the CSS? Can I open it inside WordPress?

    Use google chrome or firefox inspect tools. the CSS file is not meant to be “read”. If you want to make changes you should override the theme css not change it. Else you will lose everything when you update.
