I have used your CSS code for changing text color on scroll and it works fine for the change on a:text and a:hover but is not working on a:active. For active it stays the same as the original scroll color. This also causes the dropdown active to be the original scroll color which is almost the same as the dropdown background color making the text hard to see.

Also, I would like to thank you for this plugin and for the CSS coding. I looked long and far before finding this or anything on changing text color on scroll. Most of what I did find as far as CSS did not work at all.

    Regards,
    Julian

With the help of @phantomas88 and the plugin author I have figured out the necessary CSS code for changing text color on scroll using the sticky header effects plugin. This includes changing the dropdown text color to what you may want. I will say I could find absolutely no info on dropdown changes that actually worked. So if anyone needs help with this I will be glad to help as I know how frustrating it is to find nothing and if you do find something it doesn’t work.

I can’t really say this will work for every situation but it will be worth a try and possibly put you closer to figuring it out.

@rwattner Thank you for the great plugin. I look forward to it’s future and to future use.

It appears that this plugin hasn’t been updated in over a year and won’t work with the current WP effectively. Is there a plan to bring the plugin up to date and releasing some of the new features posted on your site for over a year now? I haven’t seen any changes to your site in over a year and that has me concerned about continuing to use your plugin for fear that I will have many abandoned sites if it stops working completely after the next WP update??

    Concerned user,
    Adam

I do see what you mean about not being tested with current versions of WP and that is concerning because I have used plugins not tested that created issues. However, I have recently used this plugin and it is working fine with no issues. There is a need to use some custom CSS if you want your links to change color in certain ways. I think this plugin may have more to do in working with Elementor than it does WP. You can view its use by going to https://salyerchiro.com
    Hope this helps.
