[Resolved] change styling for navigation in header banner question

  • I am trying to restyle the navigation links in the header and am having mixed success. So far I have shifted the placement lower in the banner and changed the size of the list items, and know how to change most of the colors. However, changing the color of the active page link is escaping me. Where is the code to make this change?

    The URL for the dev site is here

    Also, if I substitute a slider for the home page banner, what will display on the secondary pages?

    Thank you!

  • Hi – I’m new to Quark myself, but I believe what you are looking for is:

    .main-navigation .current-menu-item > a,
    .main-navigation .current-menu-ancestor > a,
    .main-navigation .current_page_item > a,
    .main-navigation .current_page_ancestor > a {
    color: #2997ab; /* Nav bar link color for current menu item or ancestor */
    }

    That’s beautiful TrekRight. You found the one spot I had missed. Thanks

    Happy to help. Good luck with the site.
