change string column to price

    Hello,
    I just wanted to say thank you for this plugin and your work. We have had a pain with GTM to work and to get the data layer from the thank you, order-received page.

    The only issue we have is that the price field in the data-variable is given as a string and not a price. is there a way of making this column say price and not string?

    Are you experiencing any data collection issues because of the variable types in the data layer provided by my plugin? I mean do you see invalid numbers in any GA report?

    Hello there and thanks for getting back to me.
    I really appreciate your work.
    currently at early testing it seems fine
    we just wondered if we could get the column from the variable layer
    on the order-recieved to sat price instead of a column heading string?

    Hi bo,

    If you would like to use the revenue of the order in any of your GTM tags, you can create a new GTM variable on the UI and select the variable type: Data Layer Variable. Enter this value:

    ecommerce.purchase.actionField.revenue

    This will read the total transaction value and you can pass this to any tag. This works for me on many setups, I haven’t encountered any issue around variable casting yet.
