Great plugin! Got it working, but i got 1 question.

Is it possible to change the starting day from sunday to monday?

I already tried to change the starting day in my google calendar but that didn’t work.

    Thanks in advance

Great! Mind sharing what worked for you?

If other’s are looking, you should be able to use the shortcode argument: fc_args='{"firstDay":"1"}' to switch to Monday as the start day.

someone said that he put Locale=en-GB and i did that for my site and it worked.

Nice! For others who want to change the start day, but don’t use English, the fc_args='{"firstDay":"1"}' should work, where 0 = Sunday, 1 = Monday, 2 = Tuesday, etc.

Sorry to bother those who have solved this before, but I’m not able to solve the problem. The website is set in Italian, as is the Google Calendar. The shortcode [ECFG_calendar_events] works well if I put it inside an HTML box (I use Elementor), but none of the other shortcodes work. Could I have an example? Thanks!

    Hi,

The bold text is what i used to change the language and the -GB worked for me to get stating day on monday. Since i use a Dutch site i put in NL, i don’t know what i should be for Italy.

    [pretty_google_calendar gcal=”###@calendar.google.com” locale=”nl-GB” show_today_button=”true” fc_args='{“weekNumbers”:”true”}’]

Hope this helps you, good luck!

    Thanks!

The shortcode fc_args='{“firstDay”:”1″}’ works for me. The language should be the ISO standard code but it doesn’t work for Italian (or I did something wrong!)

If I use the short code posted instead of [ECFG_calender_events] I cannot see the events

Hi @andreaapx – it looks like you’re working with a different plugin. The shortcode [ECFG_calender_events] is not associated with this plugin.

Oh… I found it! We are creating this association page together with another guy and I made a mistake looking for this already placed shortcode.
both active plugins created a short in the visualizzation! I’m really sorry! Now I can see the calendar but I cannot see the events. The API key is added to the code. I will look for more reply on the support page.
    Sorry again
