    Hi josefkulturaaa,

    thanks for using Ilisa! 🙂

    Go to #page in style.css and change the background-color:
    background-color: #000;

    Thanks for that Marion it worked a charm.

    I’m also using Ilisa for another website and I’m having difficulty working out how to make the white section (i guess it’s called the skin) transparent so my background image will show through. Is there a way to change the opacity of the white content area (skin)?

    Thank you so much for your help.

    Hi Joe,

    great! 🙂

    You just have to edit some lines in style.css:

    1. add background: rgba(255, 255, 255, .9); to #page
    2. optional: delete background-color:#FFF; from #comments
    3. optional: delete background: #EEE; from #comments #respond

    That should work in most common browsers.

    Marion

    I have a similar question, is it possible to have the header and sidebar show my background but leave my posts with a white background so they can be read easier? I’m using a child theme. Here is my site: http://www.olivierandkingsley.com/

    Disregard.
