Hi there,
If you have our Spacing add-on, you can reduce the size of the sidebars in the Customizer.
If not, you can use a filter like this: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/sidebar-containers/#post-118976
In the example above, 30 = 30%.
Default is 25%, so you’ll want to reduce them by 5% increments.
Let me know if you need more info π
Thanks allot, we gif it a try if I at home… and the middle content how can i make this one bigger?

The middle content area will increase in width when the sidebars decrease.
You can also increase the container width in “Customize > Layout” which will help as well.
Nice great the sidebars works great!!!
I have a last question for u…. If I want that the sidebars have the original size and only the middle one bigger is this possible. So I have the page more filled. So the sidebars keeps the sizes and the middle on is only bigger. Can u send me the code or the answer to fix this??
Thanks allot

Unfortunately the theme layout is percentage-based so it can be responsive.
To increase the middle, you need to a) decrease the sidebars or b) increase the container width.
Increasing the container width will also increase the sidebar widget relatively.
However, a mixture of the solution I posted above and increasing your container width might work perfectly for you π
Thanks allot realy! I have played with the percents and have the sidebars and middle part like I want nice!!
Can I ask u one other question then i’m a happy person…
I want to put in the header where the site title is social media logo’s, but the logo’s need to be on the right side on top of the navigation bar. So not in the black part of the navigation bar but right above the bar on the right side of the site. How can I fix this with wich code??
Thanks for helping also with the first question, that works great and i’m happy with that part.

Hi there,
Using a plugin like this and placing the widget into the “Header” widget area in “Appearance > Widgets” might do the trick: https://wordpress.org/plugins/lightweight-social-icons/
Let me know π

They should be next to each other, can you link me to the site you’re using them on?

I’m not seeing any social icons in the header?
Right because I disable the plugin

In order for me to see what’s wrong I would have to see the plugin activated.
