Change size at which titles change to dots

I need to be able to change the size setting at which the event titles convert to dots. If a calendar is just slightly larger than the default point where the switch occurs, titles appear truncated to only a few letters. Looks terrible. I see that those parameters are set in default-calendar.js and default-calendar.min.js. Is there a custom function that can be added to functions.php that could override the default? Or any other method to have it switch to dots at a larger calendar size?
