Change single post from 2 columns to 1 column layout

  • I removed the sidebar from the single post layout, but the space allocated (33%) for the sidebar still remains empty and the content is still in the 1st column allocated space (66%).

    How can I get rid of the 2nd column so the content will use 100% of the width?

  • `Hello,

    How did you remove the sidebar for the single post layout?

    You mean the actual post page, the READ MORE button takes you to, right?

    I’ve been trying to do the same thing, but had no luck…

    I did so many things…but I’m pretty sure I got rid of sidebar by

    Deleting the widgets
    and/or
    added to custom css
    #secondary.widget-area.col-md-4 {
    display: none;
    }

    Not sure if this is relevant but the column I want to remove is col-md-4 and either expand col-md-8 to full width or remove that and just have col-md-12. I think?
