Change search results in Coraline theme

    My search results page is formatted as follows for each hit:

    – Title of page matching search
    – Posted on date | Comments off
    – Comments off

    All I want to see is a list of pages, with no date and comments

    – Title of page matching search
    – Title of page matching search

    I use the Coraline theme and understand that the loop.php may have something to do with it, but have had no success. Any ideas?
