 * Hello! I´ve been looking a lot into changing this, but nothing I do works. I´
   m using mystile theme with woocommerce. My header.php calls for a function get_search_form()
   that I thought to be a wp or even theme thing, but I noticed that if I disable
   woocommerce, the search bar will disapear.
 * All I want to do is change the placeholder “Search Products” to something in
   portuguese so it looks part of the page instead of a foreign object.
 * If you want to see it, [http://www.vestdfit.com](http://www.vestdfit.com).
 * I need to know in which file is this function at so I can change the placeholder.

 * in the woocommerce plugin folder, you can search for where those words appear.
 * I see them in class-wc-post-types.php and class-wc-widget-product-search.php
 * Search the document for ‘Search Products’ and change on both files to your new
   words.
 * Save and see if it works.
 * Not tested or approved…

 * Thanks Janet!
 * I tried it but with no luck. I don´t get why they would make something so difficult
   to change…

 * I’ve never used different languages, so forgive my ignorance here, but did you
   do this already?

 * No, I didn´t do that because since I installed wp in portuguese, woocommerce
   stuff also got translated automatically. That is the only thing that is still
   in English and that´s why it looks so bad and needs to be changed.
 * But let´s say we want to change the text form ‘Search Products’ to ‘Search your
   products here’. How would we go about it?

 * Here is someone with the same issue in German.
 * They use the functions.php file to change the text. This is better than I wanted
   to try anyway 😉

 * Tried that just now and also the plugin from that video.. Still no luck. Sad
   part is that I´ll probably have to take it out from there, but it´s so important
   to have a search on first page…
