Change Role over Time | Drip Content

    Good day all –
    Excellent plugin. I got it all set up and working well thank you and then realized I did not know how to update members roles over time.

    So if they become enrolled in group 1-1 and after a week I want to add them to 1-2 and show that content. How would I go about doing this – essentially dripping content? Is it possible currently?

    If it is not possible now are you developing a version that would (maybe premium core integrated pretty please) pretty soon?

    Probably a common question but I couldn’t find an answer in search. Let me know please. Really appreciate it.

    My research points the same way (no dripping content) which for me makes the plugin about useless. Anyone from Groups – do you expect to support dripping soon?

    Please advise.

    @geodgeod Many thanks for your feedback and the suggestion. Dripping content isn’t currently supported by Groups nor any of its extensions, but it is on our list of features to be included.

    Note that changing the role as your topic’s title suggests wouldn’t be something that Groups or an extension to it would do, basically because Groups is focussed on memberships and content access control based on those.

    Regarding the ‘dripping’ itself, this would open up content after a certain time for members of a specific group, it wouldn’t change the group membership itself, but rather grant access to content based on the time that a user has belonged to a group.

    If you have any suggestions on requirements around that, I would certainly appreciate your feedback.

    Hi,

    …are there some news on the “drip content” function?
    Is it still on the feature list or is it under development or maybe cancelled?

    I guess it would be a nice paid addon…I would buy it 😉
