Hi @comr4d3b451l!
We have already tested that function, and it works correctly. Please be sure you are controlling the completion times in your automation meta box (one on the right side), and if you configured it to “1” time and the workflow has already been done before, the trigger would not launch. I do recommend you to type there “0” to test the workflow 😉.
If it is still not working, please send us a capture with the automation 😄settings.
Hope it helps!
Hi @flabernardez
Thanks for your reply.
I tried the solution you suggested but it is still not working
Here is a screen of my settings: https://i.imgur.com/wq9qd4v.png
Hi again @comr4d3b451l!
You might try with the action “change” role instead of “add”. WordPress supports a user can get several roles at the same time and maybe, the action that you require needs a completely new role.
And check if the automation is taking place at AutomatorWP > Logs
Please tell me if it works!
Hello @flabernardez
Thanks for following up. I tried this option and unfortunately, it did not work too. The logs show that the action has taken place but the user role keeps the same.
Hi @comr4d3b451l
I just tested this on an automation using the “Change user role” action and everything is working correctly to me
Just to debug this issue, have you tried to perform it with a new test account?
Also, for users that the automation have been already applied, change the action will NOT change it for them, they may require to complete again the triggers to apply the automation on their accounts
Best regards
