    Hello,

I want to change positions of “You may be interested in…” and “Cart total” sections at cart page? I want “Cart totals” with “Proceed to checkout”button to be first (on left side), and the cross sale products on the right side.

    How to do this?

You’re going to have to customize that Vantage theme by redoing the HTML/DIVS and CSS to get what you want.

But what is the connection between vantage theme and woocommerce? Should I change some template file of woocommerce or I can do the change with custom css ?

The connection is this. The theme is not setup up with WC in it. Not that I see when I downloaded it. So you would have to create a directory called woocommerce inside your theme. I would even make a child theme of your parent theme and work it that way.

It would just be vantage-child and have a style sheet calling to parent. then add the woocommerce folder like I said and follow the folder setup. Only add these folders

    wooocommerce
    – cart
    – checkout

The cart and checkout our inside woocommerce then add the files you want to customize.
see folder architecture here for a child theme I did.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Hello,

I have already child theme of vantage and also I have made a lot of customizations of woocommerce template files in the child theme folder. The question is how to do the specific job – to change the positions of both sections on cart page?

My apologies. I didn’t see the child theme activated. Now I do. Regardless. I gave you instructions above.

You will have to make sure those files are in those parts of your child theme and then code away at moving things around like you want.

Yep, It will be hard work. I hope somebody to have done this already and to share experience. If I am the pioneer of this I will have to sit down and and do the job my self 🙂

It’s simple. Will take 25 minutes tops to move things around 40 if the site is responsive.
