Change Plan price

    Hi. I need to change the price of the plan. Till now subscribers paid example 10$/month and I want to increase the monthly fees to 11$/month.

    If I change directly into the plan settings, a new subscriber will pay the new prices, but what will happen to the current customers?

    The system PMP will continue to accept as renewal 10$/month or the system (example when get payment notification from the gateway) will not renew the service because the price is different?

    Which is the correct method to increase or decrease the price of a plan?

    Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

    Current customers won’t have the changed price as subscriptions are ‘locked’ by the payment gateway.

    Depending on what payment gateway you are using for your membership you may increase/decrease pre-existing members pricing via the payment gateway dashboard or API.

    Existing customers will continue to pay their agreed upon price until their level cancels or changes. Paid Memberships Pro handles these cases correctly and changing the price won’t cause any ‘harm’ to your existing members.

    Yo tengo el mismo problema.

    y he visto que en miembros si accedes al usuario se puede cambiar el precio porque hay una opción que pone

    ¨actualización de suscripción¨

    Las actualizaciones de suscripción te permiten cambiar los valores de suscripción del miembro en horas predefinidas. Asegúrate de hacer clic en Actualizar usuario después de realizar cambios.

    Now – after next payment – on date

    ¨precio¨ por ¨X¨ ¨meses¨

    ¿así se podría cambiar el precio y mantener la suscripción mensual?

    @victoriars you are able to use the update subscription feature if you are using Stripe. This isn’t available for all gateways, and only subscriptions with Stripe.
