    Hi,

I’m on a shared webserver. PHP Safe is ON.

How can I modify the plugin in order to set automatically all permissions to 777, and owner/group to standard ones used by me (i.e. via an FTP client)?

Now it shows always one another user/group.

    Thank you in advance,
    KFP69

You’ll want the chmod command, http://us2.php.net/chmod

You can’t change the owner however.

Yes, I know it. But I’d like to update automatically the cache every time a new post is written. So, even if a folder has 777 permissions, it cannot be written. It is due to different owner’s name (that is automatically assigned to).

    Please, help me.
