Change # of posts displayed

    Tried changing the code to change the number of posts to display on my page but it is still only showing 5 posts. Ideally, I’d like to not limit the number at all. But I changed the code to show=20 and it is still showing only 5. I am fairly new to all of this so any help would be appreciated.
