Change my Username in case of my mistake

    Hey WordPress-Support-Team,

    I’ve do a mistake while registration. I’ve have a literal in my Username. My original username is not “uentooser”. So the original is “Quentooser”. It’s possible to change it for me?

    Hi Patrick,
    The username cannot be changed but as you’ve found out the display name can. Is this good enough? The username is meant for programmatic use, i..e when pinging you in a thread or signing into the forums. The display name is the human-readable one.

    thanks for these information. So after all my topics are closed i can delete my actually account and create a new once with the correct username?

    I’m afraid the system only allows your email address to be registered once on the forums, so you may have difficulty creating another account. Do you want to use the same email?

    I’ve been told you can indeed set up a new account with the same email.

    Oh, thanks for these information. After I try to create a new once, the registration formular told me “the email address is already in use”. How can in delete my actually account?

    It’s still the same problem. It’s possible to detele my account, that I can create a new once with my same e-mail address (after successfully deletion)?
