There is an option in your WordPress dashboard under “Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => General Options” where you can change the “Custom excerpt more text”.

I am considering upgrading to premium. Would there be a way in the premium version to add a left & right arrow to the numbers on Paginated pages/posts? My client would love a left & wright arrow next to the boxes…

No sorry, also in the premium version there are no arrows for paginated posts.
I understand that this may need custom work… it may be a deal breaker for the client, without the arrows.
