[Resolved] Change menu name as displayed in mobile

  • Hi,

My testing website is http://www.brilliant-storage.com/ which is using the responsive theme (live wire version 0.2 by Sami Keijonen )

There are two menus, one above the header & one below the header.

When display this website in mobile, the upper menu is named “Primary Natvigation” and the lower menu is named “Secondary Natvigation” .

These wordings : “Primary Natvigation” ,”Secondary Natvigation” are meaningless to the site visitors.

I want to change them to more meaning wordings but I dont know how .

Can someone please advise me how to fix it ?

    Thanks in advance.

    Tony

You can translate them to something else. Put your translations in child theme languages folder. You can use live-wire-en_EN.po as a base. I use Poedit for translating.

    Hi Sami,

    Thank very much.

Please forgive my foolishness as I am new to wordpress, poedit…

Do you mean I do the following:

    1) download wp-content/theme/live-wire/languages/live-wire-en_EN.po to my PC

    2) edit this file with Poedit, translate “Primary Natvigation” & “Secondary Natvigation” to my language

    3) upload this file to the same folder

    Thanks in advance.

    Tony.

Yes but (3) upload the file in child theme language folder.

    Hi Sami,

Thanks for the prompt reply. But I am confused !!!

Please tell me the path of the child theme language folder.

Do I have to create a child theme myself ?

    Thanks

    Tony
