Support » Plugins and Hacks » [Resolved] change menu icon for achievements in dashboard
3 years, 4 months ago
If it were my own plugin, I’d probably add something like the following.
'menu_icon' => plugins_url( 'images/image.png', __FILE__ ),
What is the way to add a menu icon to the custom post menu for achievements via functions.php ?
Thanks in advance.
If I had an icon, I’d use it. Create a ticket on github for me to add a filter for that line, and then that should help you add a custom one 🙂
Rather than a new ticket, it seemed to fit in nicely with the Create/add dashboard icon from a while back. Thanks for your prompt reply. Once again, brilliant work Paul.
No problem: thanks!
Took a look. I think you should just be able to use the “dpa_register_post_type_achievement” filter and add the ‘menu_icon’ param to it.
I’m following http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/add_filter but no luck so far – probably more my poor coding skills rather than anything else. Will try again when I’ve got more time.
