# Change maximum radius value

 * Hi.
 * I would like to change the **maximum** radius slider search from **1000miles**,
   down to **400miles**.
 * I visited: **directorist/assets/js/range-slider.js**
 * I changed **maxValue** from **1000** to **400**, however its not changed the 
   slider.
 * Where can I change to range slider maximum value?
 * Please and thank you.

 * The value can not be changed as this is hardcoded in the core js file. However,
   we are going to come up with a better solution for this. We understand that having
   a dynamic maximum radius slider search would be beneficial, and we have submitted
   this as a feature request to our development team. We cannot provide an exact
   timeline for when this feature will be implemented, but we will keep you updated
   on any developments.
