 * I need to make background of the gallery lightbox absolutely not transparent.
   Is it possible to use solid black as background in lightbox?

 * Yes, you can change transparency of the lightbox background in gallery settings/
   lightbox section. Just open background color selector and there you can define
   transparency of the lightbox filling.
