Change home page

    I put together my own website with Blue Griffon before I discovered WordPress. I tacked a blog onto the existing site but didn’t do much until recently, when a friend showed me how to use WordPress.

    Now I’m re-doing the entire site with WordPress but I’m not sure how I change the home page to a WordPress one. I assume I can just go onto HostGator and delete the files but the WordPress default is still /blog.

    Can anyone help a novice?

    To set a homepage on wordpress:

    Settings -> Reading -> select static page(select which page you want as the home page.)

    I hope this is what you are looking for.
